I saw that earlier, Timothy Zahn posted something on his facebook.

I am quite sad, the X-Wing series is pretty awesome - each of my copies has been read so much that they are held together with duct tape and have half-covers and dog-ears on almost every page.

You can see both Stackpole and Allston's influence in my writing, too - specifically in how I handle space combat and in some of my humor. I am constantly grabbing one of those books to reference one thing or another, and I may or may not have been considering both Rogue and Wraith squadron tattoos. (my husband both loves and hates my idea of having a Star Wars sleeve on each arm, one Empire and one Republic)

A sad day for Star Wars EU fans, that's for sure.
