It also looks like a more detailed Diablo II skill tree. It probably looks a lot like any game's skill tree. Is this really the complaint now guys? That the skill tree looks too much like another game's skill tree? Are you that eager to complain? Come on, gimme a break...

Yes. Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time!

SWTOR's Advanced Classes - NightFire - 05-15-2010

It isn't so much a complaint that it looks too much like game X's skilltree.

However coming here and going "LOOK LOOK!" and all it is, is a skill tree just like a crap ton of other games is going to get a similar response.

exactly... what I am looking for myself is actually knowledge of the game... many of the people around here have played more than 5 RPGs.. and some cross 20 different ones including MMO's

I am like ok... does it do it for me... is it just another EQ2... SWG or whatever.

Cillian why don't you post our comments there or the likes so they can see what the general people mean about the stuff they are making and that all the secret or 'new' stuff is kinda old and telling them that they show us nothing and there videos are crap.. I don't want to listen to some BW Dev Geek person that goes like wow.. now this and that and blahblahblah... and tell them to give us proper info and a reason to why we should play the game as it require more than the starwars badge to attract people.

I am far from a lolJedi person here just for mentioning one thing... the entire force thing I have lived after in other games with success in a hardcore enviroment in the past, I want élite stuff.. not just another random thing that is supposed to be new.

Why is it needed to post our comments on the SWTOR forums? everyone knows SWTOR isn't SWG, WOW, EQ2 or whatever, the matter of the fact is SWTOR is SWTOR, it has it's own skill table sure it may look simular to those other MMO's but it's not the same it has it's own system that requires unique storytelling and movesets for players for each skill table. There will be 2 catigories to choice from for each profession, with 16 new storylines and 8 very different movesets based on those catigories.

 True

Archangel Wrote:Cillian, I hope they are paying you well.

That's actually a really good question, how much are they paying you?

SWTOR's Advanced Classes - Pallos - 05-16-2010

All this talk about story lines is not good in my opinion. SWG really had the sandbox aspect right. I didn't didn't play SWOTR and think to myself, "man this would be so much better if I was playing with 1000 other people." PvE games are ultimately a failure because anyone can beat any AI with enough time and practice. People will learn how to cheat the encounter. There is only one end game opponent worth fighting, and that is another player.

SWG could of used some good storytelling, sure having the sandbox aspect is good don't get me wrong but the reason why I think SWG failed was because it became one giant grindfest with a lack of storytelling

Well to be fair Q, you aren't being held at gunpoint while being told you have to check the updates that Cill posts here. If TOR has shown you absolutely nothing interesting, why continue to check on it?
