They can say it depends on when you enter in your key that maters now, but remember, they are legally obligated to make money for their share holders. They are not legally obligated to fulfill any "details pending" mystery early play system. If they see there is an oppertunety to make more money by giving early access for CE customers then they will do so. Basically, if they over order a bunch of plastic statues and they find themselves unable to off load them, they will be required to use some sales gimick like early access to sale remaining stock.

Seems $150 is the new norm for collectors editions.

Elder Scrolls Skyrim CE is $150 and includes a big piece of plastic too.

Yet another reason why game stop is nothing but a bunch of douchebags. Why does anyone shop there?

http://money.cnn.com/2011/08/24/technology/gamestop_coupons/index.htm?source=cnn_bin&hpt=hp_bn3

Quote:Video game retailer GameStop is under fire for opening boxes of the just-released PC game Deus Ex: Human Revolution and removing a coupon from the publisher that would have given buyers a free copy of the game's online version.

.....

The article also included a photo of an e-mail sent by GameStop management instructing employees to "immediately remove and discard" the coupon. GameStop -- which also sells its own digital version of DXHR -- views OnLive as a rival.

Wow, that is bad. However I love shopping at Gamestop just to piss these whiny developers off. No other industry in the world expects to get paid for their product twice. Nor should they. Games are no different.

If that is the case, customers should only pay 70% of game cost, because it comes open/used. That could also cause a major law suit... It's like taking the toy out of the cereal box, and telling kids "well, you got the box go make a helmet." :mep:

If you have any interest in computers, I suggest you take the time to fix your own pc. Learn the bits and pieces, and save yourself some money in the process. You should never have to pay someone else to get your computer fixed, they should pay you.

Agreed, that's about the time I built my first computer. I started to teach Underdark back then as well.

Back then I spent alot of money where today you can build a computer that could run it scavenging off of other people's old computers.

For example: I had a computer given to me that some dude's wife had gone psycho and clipped all the cables inside. I can pick up cables at garage sales for 5 cents and have a ton laying around the house. I spent $100 dollars to cap out the RAM at 4 GB, buy a new powersupply, and to buy a special cable that I couldn't fix myself. In the end I had a 2.2gHz machine with 4 GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160 GB hard drive, and a decent graphics card inside.

I'm still hoping they'll give us the option of which figure we want, Malgus, Satele or Shae, but seems they want everyone to be Dark side, not Light or neutral, sorry Kirbs, seems your stuck with Dark Side =/

Time to Pay Up, A Lot..... - Starfire - 09-05-2011

The cool thing being the chat system allows me to play my character as Mr Super Goodie Two-shoes, while everyone who want's to play dark can. It works out quite well. (Almost, since there is still an instance I haven't seen the light side choice for since people are freaking lazy, but I digress. I'll see it eventually. Probably not in any party with Nis, but you never know. =P)

Time to Pay Up, A Lot..... - kateria - 09-06-2011

hehe if it's a party with nis involved an he wins the chat roll . You know it'll be the darkside choice every time .
:bravo:
