Well, that's kinda why they call them action movies and not suspense or thrillers, or dramas.. Anything other than action. The primary motiff is action, so that's what you see. The plot is secondary, if necessary at all.
All I have to say to that is...lame. Period.

It might be. But thats action movies for you, heh. If you want plot, you more or less have to read a book. Which is why I <3 my A Song of Ice and Fire novels.

Rambo and Rocky even have more of a plot than the new action movies.
Jurassic Park
These are great action movies - all with very well thought out plot lines.

Eva Green was in that movie Sonic, she's kinda hot.
I didn't see it in the theater, but it wasn't too bad when I saw it

Well, at the time I was kinda... Anyway, I wasn't alone when I saw it and I was in a horizontal position at the time anyway. Plus we were both exhausted from various activities. The movie was very much background noise.
